Pestsäule
(1680 und 1682)
Die Pestsäule (Dreifaltigkeitssäule) am Graben wird anlässlich der Pestepidemie von 1679 unter Leopold I. im Jahre 1680 errichtet.
Damals noch eine Holzsäule, die in einer Predigt von Abraham a Santa Clara gesegnet wurde, bis 1682 Matthias Rauchmiller sowie Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach, Paul Strudl und Ignaz Brändl die hochbarocke Marmorsäule erschufen.
The plague column (Dreifaltigkeitssaeule) at the ditch is established on the occasion of the plague epidemic disease of 1679 under Leopold I. in the year 1680.
